2024, these are becoming more common. This is the way to use it. Just TIGHTEN and wait for the plastic to bend, once you start seeing a number, then the torque has been achieved. Be careful. Don't get tempted to overtighten. Stonks.

That crown race was already broken free. Just bought this and wasn’t able to slide under the crown race when I tightened it down. Kept slipping and the sharp edge of the tool folded. This is a waste of money do not buy.

The saddle always has to be perfectly level! Nose too high and you'll suffer too much pressure on your perineum, nose too low and you're gonna' slide forward having to readjust with your arms putting too much pressure on the back of your neck and shoulders.

From my perspective you should NOT use training wheels. You learn to steer a car, not a two wheeled vehicle. Take the training wheels off and you must relearn. Use a balance bike with low seat as a starter. Toddlers learn balance and steering by themselves.

Bought this on Amazon. This Pannier just does not fit my bike , Trek FX 1 (2017) + RackTime LightIt rack. The problem is with the low hook whose job is to keep the pannier bottom attached to the rack. Even when moved back and forth, the hook just cannot reach any rack stay.

Looks like the Gusset tensioner. Looks fitted wrong. I''d put the chain above the guide wheel, so you get more wrap around the sprocket!

Worst instructions ever. Same with the paper sent in the package. Figured it out though, it wasn’t hard but I just thought I’d share.

If anyone is reading this and is about to throw their tool out the window, stop and hopefully, this sheds light on how to use it. Initially i had the same issues of it just spinning in place. But going off another persons comment. This tool is very counter intuitive, as you have to undo the main spindle of the tool using a 17mm spanner on the bottom end of it. Youll find two flat cuts where the spanner wil go. From there that will allow you to bring the bottom cup press to the right notch so when you tighten the spindle and top handle at the same time it will draw the two cup together. Pressing your bearing cup/cups into the frame. Hopefully this helps someone before they throw their tool away.

Miałem u siebie w warsztacie ten uchwyt zamontowany jako dodatkowy. Po 13 latach użytkowania mogę co nieco napisać. Miałem to zamontowane na bardzo stabilnym grubym dwuteowniku. Do ściany to na pewno bym nie montował na oryginalnych kołkach. Gumy wytrzymały próbę czasu, choć były już mocno wyeksploatowane. Zęby regulacji bardzo trwałe i trzymały do końca. Mechanizm zaciskowy również bez zastrzeżeń. Jednak praca na tym uchwycie to jakieś nieporozumienie. Może i na własne potrzeby do serwisowania jednego roweru by się nadawał, jednak jak za każdym razem się serwisuje inny rower to już nie koniecznie polecam. Uchwyt jest ok jak np. budujemy rower od podstaw. Jednaj jak przychodzi do regulacji przerzutek lub hamulców to niemal za każdym razem jak się kręci korbą to pedały uderzają o wspornik. Oczywiście zazwyczaj można złapać za rurę podsiodłową lub inny element ramy, jednak nie zawsze się da. U mnie się uchwyt sprawdził jako stojak dodatkowy. Do serwisu jednak nie polecam. Za to trwałość jest super.
